Judge 1
The intrigue that Eternityhero set up is really building up to something and it's making me very curious to see what will happen. The emotional touch he added at the end was also very nice. However it's hard to over look the loving craft that Koeb puts into her work. The balance between the actual fight and Madoka's inner struggle as a vengeful wife and as a neglectful mother is something I really respect and admire. Koeb's pacing coupled with the emotional depth of her story has won this match in my eyes.
Judge 2
Right off the bat, I have to say that Eternityhero did an amazing job on this match. The fight was extremely well done, with some great movement and pacing - as well as characterizing his opponent's fighting style soundly. The last page really brought Vince's other side - the side that's not drunk - into perspective. It was a display of great writing. However, the characters really, truely stood out in Koeb's entry. She got it down pat to even the way Vince seems to move - and countered it with Madoka's own ingenuity. Coupled with a great plot and internal struggle, Koeb takes writing to a level I've never quite seen in OC tournaments.


Judge 1
Both participants did a great job on this battle. Though I liked the relative complexity of Hunter's story (with the parallel plotlines) Shikaku did a better job making the story more emotionally gripping, while Hunter's, though it tied in previous events in the tournament, didn't use those events to enhance the actual battle. Hanabi's drive to succeed made the entry short but very sweet.
Judge 2
Though I liked the way Hunterwolf continued his story from last round it felt that the fight against Hanabi had taken a back seat a bit too much to the rest of the plot. Although I didn't like the way Shikaku dismissed the events of Hunterwolf's previous comic I prefer her tighter fight. It felt like it really mattered that Hanabi win this fight.
