How to join the league

Here are the guidelines:

Feudal Attire
1400 - 1600, any race and any nation, so long its on earth.

No magic and LITTLE mysticism
So all SDL duels will have a measure of fairness. Now allowing a little real world mysticism to diversify the line-up. But please no extreme giants and half species OCs.

What if your OC is anthro or magic heavy? One possible work around is to simply enter a toned down human version of your OC in SDL, since you still reserve the right to use the OC in all its original glory outside SDL duels. For those that fall in the warewolf and demon cathegories, you can do the same idea or have your OC like it was a human disguised as a warewolf or demon costume what have you. Same thing goes for ghosts.

The belief in mystical occurances is permitted, as is the illusion of mystical occurances. But actual, specifically-explained mystical occurances are not.
It is only permitted if they are hinted at. i.e. unexplained phenomena that DO NOT specifically imply magic. (Like Voodoo and superstition.) Duel entries that depict working magic are counted as forfeits; if all entries depict working magic, then the duel is considered a double forfeit.

No hi-tech gadgets and machine guns
We dont allow them at least for now. Guns are okay but feudal flavor please.

Extra human physical attributes are allowed
Note not super human ala Dragonball eh? We can still accept Rouruni Kenshin speed and strengths and staminas and other attributes.

That can also be found at the bottom of the front page journal. That will lead you to the application form that you will need to fill out. "Watching" our DA account is optional, though it may serve you good to do so, so you can be posted on the latest tournaments we sanction and special trials and activities. Please make sure that you agree with our disclaimer below to avoid legal issues of any sort.

Please submit all entries to your own DA accounts then note me with a link to your gallery.

Also include the number of WINS, LOSES, FORFEITS of your OC or you the artist.

You can enter more than one OC but at your own risk. When tournament season comes and you have boat loads of OCs to draw it will be to your disadvantage.

Why feudal themed?
Feudal times has always been the theme of our comic, and since the league is based on it, it should stay true to its roots. Also since this is tied to our comics, there are many possibilities that OCs and battles will be part of our actual comics. Prizes even include a full fledge plot in our ongoing comic story.

The is another possibility of expansion to modern times and mixed league, but for now we will use the SDL as a dry run.

How do I know if I was accepted?
We will try to notify you whether by note or comment on your profile. (I'm too busy and its the fastest way for me) If you don't get one and in the event that i forget, please check the UNRANKED ROSTER if your profile is there. If not you will receive a note from me saying why you're not in.

Finally...
For ethiquetes sake, do not force people to duel with you. Do not force ELITE! people or judges to make changes in any stat or rules or anything SDL. This is not a democracy. We are grown-ups that will make sound reasoning in deciding things. Please have faith in us. Otherwise, you will get a warning then a help desk notice if it continues till there is reason to ban. Okies? Lets make this a clean friendly league.
