Winner: ~Dieman i gotta say i loved how both entries built up. but i was sad that both entries didnt develop further. both left the character conflicts very unresolved, but diemans intense linework really pushed the action in the fight to a whole new level. i hope to see more from both in the near future.

Winner: ~NilSpaar for a slightly easier-to-follow entry. the bold black and white in nilspaars entry stands out much better than the faint grey lines of energy's. however, as a reader, i do think its worth saying that both artists should pay attention to story flow and interaction between characters. the progression from the initial meeting, to the fighting, isnt a progression at all. there isnt a sensible identifiable reason for them to start fighting in either entry, nor is there a sensible end. I highly suggest reading other competing artists entries to see what they do, and learn from example.

Winner: ~Kurasato Kurasato delivered a beautiful entry with crisp clean lines and easy to follow action, coupled with wonderful anatomy. I also enjoyed Monkey's entry, however, since the lines were a little blurred by all the "speed lines" I thought it detracted from the piece a bit. the visuals at either side of the image were a neat effect but since we did not immediately recognize them it only further visually confused us. Still, wonderful work you two.

I didn't mind the guidelines beneath the top pencils, I htought they may have even added something to the piece. Akahime, your duel was interesting but I didnt see any kind of conclusion to it in your gallery.

Winner: hellangelz. Unable to find other opponent's entry. hellangelz's comic has well-done proportions (only sometimes was it off), perspectives, and scenery. Somewhere in the middle, it almost got confusing from how the panels and dialog were laid out. It would have been nice to see a more descriptive ending rather than you having to explain what happened in the end through the artist comments. Like Kyoko saying "Tch, whatever" and walking off as Iron Samurai continued to sob before the next page since it seemed like a big jump from that moment to the morning after the disaster.

Winner: *Kuga-Maru While Kuga's duel was definately slopper, it was more completed than Daj's duel, and had a pretty funny premise. It was hard to follow at times but this could be due to the rushed nature of the pages. Nice work both of you.

Winner:~AteMozzarella's entry was more straight forward along, and included a much deeper and involving story.
Next time for both artist, if it is possible, for more of a flow for non-Tagalog readers-- you should put the translated English text in smaller print right underneath the words in each bubble. It was a major distraction from the entries itself, having to scroll down and read each translation.

Winner: :devzen-dragon-pro: takes this match with a more clearly defined altercation which shows her character coming out literally on top of the situation. While I do enjoy a laid back entry such as Crows, I think conceptually it could have been stronger--say pork is your favourite so you have them full off of pork. You could display mountains of untouched dim sum to express that it went uneaten.

However, =ZeroExile has interesting poses and a nicely detailed background that should be continued in future duels.

WINNER: =TofuDerp Chuchu25's lines are clear and clean which is really great. But since there seems to be a direction of wind that's lifting Tail's hair up, something more could've been added to the movement. Like Korn's hair and both their clothing being blown dramatically by the wind. Because there is no real strong movement the image looks slightly stiff. tofuderp's rough sketch and thick lines give the image a lot of character. It was a bit difficult though to see at first that Korn was hitting Tail's head because of the action lines getting a little lost within the picture.
