Here's another one of 's concepts that was first rendered by . The sample i got from Shane was a composite it seems of Genjuro in Samurai Shodown and a mask of cobra commander! I put my own twists on this one and associated him with SDL's fine garments corporation, Drada. With that in mind i hand drew all the patterns on the fly and zen circles on the inner garment designs. (i must learn more on how hakama's fold btw)

The sword was to be in the shape of the 9 tails fox lore but it looked like a peacock to me so i added some markings here and there. Also added a few charms on each sword as it is a craze in the SDL world. (emoticons idea popped up my head while i was chatting with yesterday. yuk yuk yuk!)

Backstory:

Teruo Shunji was a sergeant with the secret police. His charge was to guard high ranking officials and dignitaries traveling the Amatsu Douro to the Imperial Capital on business. He was well respected in his village and the pride of his large family…

While Guarding a wealthy merchant visiting the capital city. Teruo and his Squad were ambushed by an assassin hired by the Yakuza Oyabun- Higami Gokoro, the assassin was not sent to kill the merchant only to drive him mad with a highly toxic dart filled with powerful hallucinogenic drugs. Teruo has struck by the dart instead of the merchant. In a matter of moments he was overtaken by the drugs causing him to go mad with rage and have dark visions…

All around him his team members were becoming monsters, their faces twisting, snarling like mad dogs…the filthy traitors! Before his squad could grasp what had happened, half of them lay dead within moments his team and the merchant were all butchered…

Teruo seeing the carnage laid out before him ran down to the stream. Looking in the water, at his own face twisting in the reflection. He began to claw at it until he could no longer recognize himself. Realizing what had just happened he gathered what was left of his shattered senses, his Squads weapons and ran off into the forest…

Now with a price on his head, his face mutilated and the shame of his family, he has nothing left but revenge.

Gingitsune is no where near sane... He has constant problems with flashbacks, paranoia, dark visions and fits of rage…all that aside he’s still one hell of a swordsman. Donning a mask and getting sponsored by Drada, he fights in the S.D.L. in search of the People responsible for ruing his life…
